I have lived there for 33 years now, and I can tell you that these woods have been scary to me ever since I got lost in them with my sister as a kid. We walked into the woods that are in our backyard, and got lost on top of the mountain, it got dark before we found our way home and we were scared we’d never make it back. Maybe that’s the resaon these woods freak me out, but there are definitely other reaons why… Even as an adult, weird vibes everywhere, you definitely think you’ve heard movement, but it doesn’t sound like an animal. A feeling of being watched and followed is present, but that could just be animals being portective of their territory. Also people have been building structures and dirt bike paths around here for years, so the trails are almost endless and truly do go in circles! There’s a lot of grey rocks/gravel scattered about the town, as Tilcon is continuously chewing away at the mountains. I’ve heard the town be referred to as “Greystone” before on other sites documenting supposedly “haunted” places. I don’t have anything to say as far as “seeing things” on the ground etc goes, but the people that live here do like to take lots of drugs that may cause them to hallucinate and see things that aren’t necessarily there. There is also a man-made lake in this town, and water company property everywhere. Don’t get caught trespassing!
